The grapes used in our 2020 Merlot were sourced from vineyards in the Osoyoos and Summerland regions. The juice was fermented in stainless steel before being pressed off the skins and aged for 11 months in used oak barrels. This ruby red Merlot begins with aromas of blackberry jam and black cherries, mingled with cloves and vanilla. It delivers flavours of sweet black plum, blueberry, and black cherry on the mid-palate with baking spice and chocolate on the long and elegant finish.
Suggested Food Pairings: Black forest cake, grilled steak with blue cheese & shiitake mushrooms, smoked brisket, dark chocolate lava cake.
