The 2019 Chardonnay was harvested from a single vineyard, ‘grown and wine’, which is owned by assistant winemaker Cheryl Blasco and located on Dilworth Mountain. 30% of this wine was fermented for two months in new French Oak barrels. We chose to oak this wine through fermentation as opposed to aging in oak for an extended period. In turn, this helped us to preserve the fresh and fruit forward notes that this region is so well known for. The Chardonnay presents a nose of honey and pineapple with fresh white peach and lemon on the palate.
